  • Boston will need to continue taking advantage of New York’s defense on Ray Allen. The sharpshooting Allen went 4-for-4 from the three point line in his last game, finishing up with 18 points.

New York

  • The Knicks can’t afford to take another loss in this series, especially while at home. They became shorthanded during game 2 after Amare Stoudemire had to leave with back spasms. Stoudemire should be able to return, but they might be with their point guard, Chauncey Billups.
  • Carmelo Anthony hung 42 points in one of the finest playoff performances for a scorer, but couldn’t finish off the much needed win. The Knicks suffered from their mistakes in their recent loss and should look much better playing in New York.

This contest should get heavy and much more entertaining now that the series is being taken to New York. Expect the Knicks to come out with much more aggressiveness on offense, but they will need to make some stops in the second half.
