Ball State at Western Michigan 11-24-09

November 24, 2009

From 12 wins all the way down to one. That’s what has transpired in Muncie as Ball State’s lone victory this season came against winless Eastern Michigan, by two points no less. Western Michigan hasn’t had a stellar season either but the Broncos could pick up their sixth win this evening and go 5-3 in MAC play in the process. They also have three victories by three touchdowns or more so when faced with an inferior opponent, they usually take care of business.

Another reason Western Michigan should trounce Ball State is the fact the Broncos have had 10 days since their last game while the Cardinals played last Wednesday. This contest could be close early, but look for Western Michigan to take control in the second half to post a convincing victory

Ball State is 1-9 SU and 5-5 ATS this season – 2-1 ATS in its last three games, all unders. Western Michigan is 5-6 SU and 3-7 ATS in ‘09 – 1-4 ATS in its last five games. Ball State is 4-1 both SU and ATS the last five meetings with four overs. Take Western Michigan giving the points.
