Cincinnati Bearcats (3-5) vs. West Virginia Mountaineers (5-3)

Saturday, November 13th, 2010 12:00PM EST

Line: West Virginia -5

Both of these Big East teams have lost their last two games. West Virginia is coming off a disappointing loss to Connecticut last week, losing 16-13. Cincinnati couldn’t contain Syracuse’s offense last weekend, they lost 31-7. The Bearcats will have to travel to West Virginia to try and slow down a slightly better Mountaineers team.

Keys to the Game:

–          The Cincinnati Bearcats hold on to a respectable defense that has allowed 24.4 points all season. They can also account for a great passing game that’s ranked 26th in the nation, averaging 268 yards in the air this season.

–          The Mountaineers have one of the best defensive squads in the nation. The team is ranked fourth, allowing only 13.6 points per game this season. Their last two losses result from poor offensive mistakes.

–          Cincinnati’s quarterback, Zach Collaros has been stellar for the Bearcats. The junior has passed for 1,918 yards and 20 touchdowns this season. He was absent due to a knee injury in the team’s last game, but should be in uniform for this matchup against the Bearcats.

Look for Cincinnati to put a deep scare into West Virginia’s potent defense. The Mountaineers haven’t been able to have the season they expected this year, but can still savage their sixth win of the season if their running back, Noel Devine can find some open field.
