Colorado Buffaloes at #9 Oklahoma Sooners

Saturday October 30, 2010 9:15 PM EST

Line: Oklahoma -23

Oklahoma got their first loss of the season at Missouri last week 36-27. This Sooners team will come into this game hungry looking for a bounce back game at home. Colorado has lost three straight games. Their first loss was at Misouri three weeks ago 26-0.

Stats to consider:

Colorado Buffaloes:

  • Colorado is 3-4 on the season with an 0-3 Big 12 record.
  • They are 0-2 on the road with both loses by a combined 88-7.
  • Points against per game: 25.6 (66th)
  • Points for per game: 20 (100th)
  • Passing yards a game: 215.6 (64th)
  • Rushing yards a game: 136.9 (81st)

Oklahoma Sooners:

  • Oklahoma is 6-1 on the season with a 2-1 Big 12 record.
  • They are 5-0 at home this season.
  • Points against per game: 21.4 (44th)
  • Points for per game: 34.7 (24th)
  • Passing yards a game: 303 (12th)
  • Rushing yards a game: 147.3 (65th)

What to watch for:

  • As stated earlier, Colorado plays very poorly on the road. They have not been within 26 points of any game. Oklahoma plays very well at home and are 5-0 at home.
  • Sooner QB Landry Jones has been solid with 2,094 yards with 17 TDs and 5 Ints. His leading receiver Ryan Broyles has 810 yards with 5 TDs. Broyles has two bad ankles coming into this game, but it shouldn’t affect the outcome to much.
  • Sooner Senior RB DeMarco Murray has 712 yards and 11 TDs. He is in for a huge game vs a porous Colorado defense.

Oklahoma at home makes this an easy sports pick. The Sooners have been too solid at home and Colorado plays poorly away from home. Look for DeMarco Murray to have a huge game as the Sooner bounce back after a tough loss last week, their first.
