Colorado State Rams (3-8) vs. Wyoming Cowboys (2-9)

Saturday, November 20th, 2010 2:00PM EST

Line: Wyoming -2.5

Wyoming lost their sixth straight game last weekend against UNLV, 42-16. The team only has two wins this season; against Southern Utah and Toledo. Colorado State suffered their eighth loss of the season last week, failing to keep up with BYU.

Keys to the Game:

–          Pete Thomas has been the quarterback all season for Colorado State. So far, Thomas has passed for 2,565 yards, 11 touchdowns and 12 interceptions this season. Last week, the freshman passed for 292 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions.

–        Wyoming are among the worst teams in the nation on offense. They’re ranked 106th in passing and 103rd in rushing. The team also has a hard time scoring the ball, averaging 16.9 points per game this season.

–         The Colorado State Rams have a better offense than Wyoming. The Rams rank 51st in the nation when it comes to passing the ball, averaging 233.2 passing yards this season. Their running game isn’t as strong, as they only average 117.4 rushing yards per game.

The Wyoming Cowboys will have a chance to snap their eight-game losing streak at home this week, but could face troubles against the Rams. Colorado State holds on to a more concrete passing game and should be able to hold off the Wyoming’s offense.
