#16 Iowa Hawkeyes (6-2) vs. Indiana Hoosiers (4-4)

Saturday, November 6th, 2010 12:00PM EST

Line: Iowa -17

Overview:

The 16th-ranked Hawkeyes rebounded well from their disappointing loss to Wisconsin on October 23rd. The team went on to hold fifth-ranked Michigan State to six points in their victory last weekend. Indiana has been struggling as of late, losing four out of their last five. Their last game was a 20-17 loss to Northwestern.

Keys to the Game:

–          The Indiana Hoosiers began their season very well, winning their first three games. The team is now riding a two game losing streak and can’t seem to find any success on defense nor running the ball. The Hoosiers are ranked eighth in the nation in passing the ball though, averaging 312.9 yards per game this year.

–         Iowa’s Ricky Stanzi has continued to play sensational this season. The senior went 11/15 for 190 yards and three touchdowns in his last game. The Hawkeyes will need him and sophomore, Adam Robinson, to help take down the Hoosiers.

–        The Hoosiers’ quarterback, Ben Chappell has passed for 2,445 yards, 18 touchdowns and 7 interceptions this season. His receivers Damarlo Belcher, Tandon Doss and Terrance Turner are arguably the best receiving combo in their conference.

While the Hawkeyes possess one of the best defenses in the nation, they could allow some touchdowns in this one against the Hoosiers. Indiana can pass the ball really well and is able to put up points on the board, averaging 29.4 this season.
