Miami (FL) Hurricanes (3-2) vs. Duke Blue Devils (1-4)

Saturday, October 16th, 2010 1:00PM ET

Line: Miami -19.5

The Hurricanes suffered their second lost last week, getting dominated 45 to 17 by Florida State. This weekend they may catch a break; facing a Duke team that has lost their last four games. Jacory Harris struggled to find a groove though he threw for 225 yards. Harris ended up completing 19 out of his 47 passes for no touchdowns and an interception, as they went down to the Seminoles. The Blue Devils continue their losing slump, losing last week to Maryland, 16-21.

Keys to the Game:

–          The Blue Devils had trouble with their offense once again last weekend against Maryland. The team only managed to rush for 48 yards. They also had the two only turnovers in the game and were 4 for 16 on third down conversions.

–          Miami’s Damien Berry rushed for exactly 101 yards for his second straight week against Florida State. His running has improved since his first game this season. So far the running back has 428 yards and two touchdowns this year.

–          Sean Renfree continues to throw interceptions. He’s had nine picks in the team’s last four games. Last week he completed 28 out of his 56 passes for 351 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions. The team hasn’t been able to find a consistent offensive flow with his foul throws.

The Hurricanes should be able to recoup after their tough loss last week. The Blue Devils have one of the worst defenses in the nation, letting opponents average 39.8 points this year. The Blue Devils will be playing at home in this one but it shouldn’t cause much of a change to the final scoreboard.
