South Florida Bulls (5-3) vs. Louisville Cardinals (5-4)

Saturday, November 13th, 2010 12:00PM EST

Line: Louisville -2.5

The Louisville Cardinals are coming off a great 8-point win over Syracuse last week, the team is currently ranked 28th in the nation when it comes to running the ball, averaging 193.4 rushing yards per game this season. The South Florida Bulls have won their last two games behind the play of their quarterback, B.J. Daniels.

Keys to the Game:

–          South Florida possesses a respectable defense that can make some crucial stops throughout their games. The team is 25th in the nation when it comes to points allowed, allowing opponents to average 19.6 points per game this season.

–          The Louisville Cardinals have a definite running back in Bilal Powell, but will be without the star back in this game. Powell has rushed for 1,067 yards and nine touchdowns this season. The team will hope Victor Anderson will do a solid job in helping the team find its running attack.

–          South Florida was able to have fine success in both running and passing the ball in their last game. B.J. Daniels completed 10 of his 17 passes for 149 yards and two touchdowns. The team’s running back, Moise Plancher had a chance to run for 135 yards off 21 carries against Rutgers.

The Cardinals could potentially suffer when it comes to running the ball, but they do have a solid quarterback in Adam Froman, who’s thrown for 1,633 yards and 11 touchdowns this season. South Florida has looked like a really tough team to take down as of late, so expect the Bulls to make this one close.

Free Pick: South Florida +2.5
