Miami Heat (10-8) vs. Cleveland Cavaliers (7-10)

Thursday, December 2nd, 2010 8:00PM EST

Line: Miami -5.5

Overview:

All eyes will be on LeBron as he makes his notorious return back to Cleveland while wearing a Miami Heat uniform. Cleveland has managed to put up some wins this season despite the absence of their former leader, racking up seven victories this season. Miami has had some recent chemistry struggles but were able to get it together to find their tenth win of the season on Monday over Washington.

Keys to the Game:

–          The Miami Heat were undergoing a three-game losing streak about a week ago, but have won two out of their last three games. The team is sixth in the league in points allowed, holding opponents to an average of 94.4 points per game this season.

–          Mo Williams has been the key to the Cavaliers offensive push. Williams is averaging 15.9 points and 5.3 assists this season. Anderson Varejao leads the team in rebounding with 9.1 per game, he’s also putting up an average of 8.7 points for the Cavs this season.

–          LeBron James’ numbers haven’t suffered ever since making the trip to Miami. The small forward is leading the team in points with 23.7, assists (7.7) and steals (1.7). Wade has come back strong from his injury and the team should be able to control the pace against Cleveland.

Game Forecast:

The comeback of LeBron to Cleveland is the main headline for this one, but it’s important to not let it overshadow the favorable matchups Miami will have against Cleveland on the floor. The Cavs will be able to feed off the energy, but it won’t be enough to stop James and Bosh in this one.
