Line: Orlando -8

Overview:

The Orlando Magic have already suffered two losses while playing at home, this is a team that usually dominates whoever steps into the Amway Center. The Magic are coming off a, 91-90 win over the Nets on Saturday, Howard had 16 points and 10 boards. The Grizzlies are 7th in the league in scoring, but are coming off a, 116-100 overtime loss to the Celtics in their last game.

Keys to the Game:

–          The Magic carry a big spread here, but the Grizzlies should have no problem contesting it. They are averaging 104.6 points per game this season, but Orlando has been able to keep their opponents at an average of 92.9 points this season.

–          Thanks to Dwight Howard, the Magic are fifth in the league in rebounding. The team averages 44.1 rebounds per game, this is led by Howard, Brandon Bass and Rashard Lewis. Dwight is averaging 10.6 boards, while both  Lewis and Bass both average 5.7.

–          Rudy Gay continues to have an impressive season for the Grizz. The four-year vet is averaging 25.2 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game for Memphis. He had 22 points and 6 rebounds in the team’s last game against Boston.

Game Forecast:

Orlando should be able to cherish their home advantage. The team should be without their leading point guard, Jameer Nelson but they should be able to do fine. Memphis’ guard, Michael Conley has been efficient for the team this year though, averaging 7.3 assists per game.
