Miami Heat (8-6) vs. Orlando Magic (9-4)

Wednesday, November 24th, 2010 7:30PM EST

Line: Even

Overview:

The Miami Heat managed to dominate the Magic in their last meeting, 70-96. In this second meeting of the season between these two, the Heat are struggling while the Orlando Magic have found a way to stack up their respective wins. Both teams are coming off losses, but will look to be in top form for this showdown in Florida.

Keys to the Game:

–          The Orlando Magic were on a four-game winning streak before suffering a loss to San Antonio in their last game. The team has been led by their young center, Dwight Howard, who’s averaging 21.8 points and 11.6 rebounds per game this season.

–          LeBron James found himself playing 42 minutes in both of the team’s two latest games which were both losses. LeBron is averaging 23.5 points and 8.6 assists this season, but he and the starting five have yet to find a rhythm on offense once they give up a lead.

–          Orlando is eighth in the league in rebounding thanks to Howard. The team has also been able to keep it together on defense. They are ranked third in the league in points allowed with 91.5 points.

Game Forecast:

Look for Miami to generate better looks on offense, while spurning some big-time plays down the stretch. Orlando will show how’ve they’ve managed to keep such a polished record while playing at home, but Miami will mend together behind their leaders to steal this win.
