Milwaukee Bucks (1-3) v. Boston Celtics (3-1)

Wednesday, November 3rd, 2010 8:00PM EST

Line: Boston -7

Overview:

The Celtics continue to ride behind the success of Rajon Rondo and the veterans around him. Boston is coming off a 108-86 win over Detroit last night, the team was able to limit their turnovers while forcing 17 turnovers from the Pistons. The Bucks are coming off a loss to the Blazers in their previous game, the team shot 37.5% from the field in their loss. Milwaukee have showed signs they could play some solid defense in their first couple of games, they will need to make some stops and find better shots when heading to Boston in this one.

Keys to the Game:

–          Carlos Delfino has been having a solid season for Milwaukee so far. The 6’6’’ swingman is averaging 16 points and 4.8 rebounds per game for the Bucks. In the team’s only win over Charlotte, Delfino had 23 points, 3 assists and 2 steals.

–          After dishing out 24 assists and 10 rebounds against the Knicks, Rondo responded in his next game with 17 dimes and 4 steals. In Boston’s first four games, Rondo’s putting up 10.3 points, 16.8 assists and 5.5 rebounds per game.

–          Boston’s bench runs deep for this season. The team’s power forward, Glen Davis has been able to supply a load of efficient offense while coming off the bench this season. He is ready to fill in for any player in Boston’s front court, averaging 13.3 points and 5.3 rebounds per game this season.

Game Forecast:

The Celtics have recovered well from their unexpected loss to Cleveland by winning their next two games. The team looks terrific this season when it comes to rebounding, sharing the ball and just playing shut down defense. The Bucks must avoid their streaky shooting woes to even have a chance to stay close in this game. Expect the Celtics to win this one comfortably if they continue to control the pace of their game while making the smart passes they’ve been making in their first four games.
