Oklahoma City Thunder (7-4) vs. Boston Celtics (9-2)

Friday, November 19th, 2010 7:00PM EST

Line: Boston -6.5

Overview:

The Celtics will return back home for what should be a competitive game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Boston is coming off a 114-83 win over the Wizards on Wednesday, Paul Pierce had 23 points while Rondo dished out 13 assists. The Thunder also haven’t played since Wednesday, defeating the Rockets, 116-99.

Keys to the Game:

–          Oklahoma City ranks seventh in the league in scoring, averaging 104.2 points per game this season. Russell Westbrook was able to put up 21 points alongside 12 assists in the team’s last game against Houston.

–          Boston is the number one team in the league when it comes to assists per game, the team is averaging 27.3 assists. Rajon Rondo continues his witty play, averaging 10.9 points and 14.9 assists per game this season.

–          The Celtics still remain as one of the league’s toughest defensive teams. They currently rank sixth this season, allowing only 94.6 points per game thus far.

Game Forecast:

The Celtics will soar past the Thunder in this one, but it won’t be a breeze. Oklahoma City has two of the best slashers in Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant. Boston will have trouble staying out of foul trouble when it comes to slowing down Kevin Durant, who will be keeping this game close with his free throw shooting.
